Geographic Location

Nepal is located in South Asia between latitudes 26°22'N to 30°27'N and longitudes 80°04'E to 88°12'E. The country is landlocked, bordered by China (Tibet) to the north and India to the south, east, and west.

  • Terai Region (17%) - Southern lowland plains
